Retail Gold prices are gradually increasing in India.

Last Saturday, the retail gold price in Chennai increased Rs. 19.00 per gram to 2,869.00 due to increased demand by buyers in the city. A week ago Gold in the retail market in Chennai was sold at 2,825.00. Within a week Gold has gained Rs. 44.00 per gram and Rs. 352.00 per 8 grams.

While in Bangalore, 1 gram of 22 Carat Gold in local retail jewellery was Rs. 2805.00 and in Kerala 1 gram of 22 Carat Gold was Rs. 2775.00 last Saturday. In Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Kolkata the retail 22 Carat Gold rate increased to 30.00 Rupees.

We may see a steady increase in Gold prices in couple of weeks due to increased buying by jewellers, to fullfill local demand.

Retail Silver and Platinum also witnessed increase in prices due to increased demand.
